Chinese electric vehicle brand Zeekr plans to introduce the 7X, a Tesla Model Y-sized SUV, to Australia in 2025. The 7X, based on the PMA2+ platform, will be launched in October and will be sold through franchised dealerships. The 7X is slightly larger than the Tesla Model Y and around the same size as the seven-seat Kia Sorento. It will be priced between ¥240,000 and ¥350,000 (~A$49,000 and $71,000) in China before the end of 2024. The 7X will join the 001 liftback, 007 sedan, 009 and Mix people movers, and X crossover in Zeekr’s lineup. Zeekr is a sister brand to Polestar and Volvo and has not released any imagery of the 7X’s interior.
