Volvo C40 Recharge Review — 1st Impressions

Volvo, a leading automaker in the all-electric lineup since 2017, is now offering the C40 Recharge, a fully electric vehicle. The C40 Recharge is available in three trim levels and drivetrains, with the base trim only available with a single motor. The battery options have little difference in capacity, but the standard audio setup has 8 speakers and the optional Harman Kardon has 13 speakers plus a subwoofer. The C40 Recharge contributes 59 tons to the greenhouse layer over its lifetime.
The Volvo C40 is a one-pedal electric car with high torque, gearless instantaneous power supply, and low center of mass. The car’s driving characteristics are better than in a comparable ICEV. The car has lane keeping support, blind spot warning, collision avoidance, emergency braking, and fully adaptive cruise control. The car has Google Maps and assistant features, and a route planner. The car has a towing capacity of 750kg unbraked and 1500kg/1800kg braked, making it suitable for family trips and holidays. Read More CleanTechnica Reviews Archives
