VinFast’s VF 8 City Edition has received an EPA rating, but its performance is not great. The Combined Ranges for the VF8 City Edition Eco and City Edition Plus are 207 miles and 191 miles, respectively. The Standard Edition Eco and Plus are expected to have more range, but the 87.7 kWh battery is compared to the City Edition’s 82 kWh. The VF8 City Edition’s energy efficiency ratings are poor, with a combined 87 MPGe, 89 MPGe in city, and 85 MPGe on highways. The VF8 showed promise but underdelivered with the City Edition.
