The 2025 Volvo EX90 is a seven-seat electric SUV that represents a new era for Volvo as it enters the fully electric future. The vehicle is built on Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture (SPA2) and features a dual motor powertrain capable of hitting 496 horsepower and 671 lb-ft. of torque. The 111kWh battery can handle charge rates as high as 250kWh, with a range of approximately 300 miles or 534 km.

The EX90 maintains a minimalistic approach, with built-in sensors, cameras, radar detection, and a LiDAR system. The vehicle also includes Ride Pilot, a semi-autonomous driving mode, which will be available as a subscription-based add-on starting in California. The interior is spacious and made from responsibly sourced materials, with fabrics made from PET bottles, cork, and bio-attributed materials. Despite manufacturing delays, orders are set to be ready for summer 2024.
