Tesla has invested heavily in creating its own charging network of Superchargers, which provide convenience for owners of electric cars who travel long distances or cannot charge at home. The Supercharger network, which has been installed by Tesla since 2014, operates two types of electric car chargers: Destination and Supercharger.

Tesla has opened its network to non-Tesla drivers, with 24 supercharging sites now open for any electric car driver. Superchargers operate two different power ratings of chargers in the UK, with the V2 and V3 providing power outputs of 150kW and 250kW respectively.

To find a Tesla Supercharger, users must download the Tesla app and locate the site. To charge a Tesla, users need to plug the connector into their car, select the charger number on the app, and complete the charging session. Tesla owners have access to the lowest Supercharging prices per kWh and seamless car and charge post integration. Non-Tesla owners can sign up for a membership scheme for lower charging prices per kWh.
