Pepsi has added 21 Tesla Semi electric trucks to its Sacramento production hub, helping the company achieve its sustainability goals. The trucks are suited for short-range runs that operate out of its Sacramento distribution warehouse. However, three out of the 21 trucks regularly handle between 250 and 450 miles on each trip. Pepsi’s Transformation and Strategy Director, Amanda DeVoe, praises the regenerative braking system, charging speed, and comfortable interior.
