The Polestar 4 will be revealed on April 18

Polestar insists on the fact that the 4 isn’t just a coupe version of the Polestar 3 model.

Polestar is still a very young manufacturer, but with the support of Volvo and the Geely Group behind the curtains, the purely electric brand aspires to much more on the global automotive scene. If the Polestar 1 was a way to showcase the Swedish manufacturer’s know-how, the Polestar 2, on the other hand, is a product aimed at a much wider audience.

However, the best has yet to come with the Polestar 3 launching later this year, the manufacturer will finally have a vehicle with a utilitarian body capable of competing with the other luxury EV SUVs available on the market. With the Polestar 3, the brand should, in principle, increase its presence on the road, with the SUV craze still going strong all over the world.

But it seems that this is not enough, as Polestar has just revealed its intentions to unveil another crossover with a coupe profile. The Polestar 4 will make its debut on April 18 at the Shanghai Auto Show in China.

Polestar is already promising that its latest model will be the fastest of the brand, eclipsing even the Polestar 3 in the process. Let’s remember that the much-anticipated Polestar 3 will leave the factory with an estimated 517 horsepower and a 0-100 km/h time of 4.7 seconds.

What’s more, some of the features presented by the brand’s recent prototypes will finally be integrated into a production model; the Polestar 4 will be the first to benefit from them. Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath said: “Polestar 4 is not simply a modified version of our first SUV. Instead, we reconsidered the entire design to create a new breed of SUV coupé.”

We’ll have to wait until next week to discover more details surrounding this new model, a new entry that could come to us as a 2025 model, though at the time of writing, it’s all speculation. The presentation of the Polestar SUV coupe will certainly tell us more in a few days.
