Kia has won the ‘German Car of the Year 2024’ (GCOTY) award for its three-row Kia EV9 electric SUV, which has been selected in the ‘Luxury’ category. The EV9 is the second model to join Kia’s dedicated battery-electric vehicle lineup, following the EV6. The EV9 is built on the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and offers an impressive all-electric range of up to 541km based on WLTP standards. The EV9 also prioritizes comfort during breaks with front-row’relax’ seats and optional driver assistance suites. The EV9 is set to be delivered to European customers later this year.
