The Cadillac Lyriq electric crossover has been upgraded with an over-the-air software upgrade, bringing extra torque and a shorter time from 0 to 60 mph to the range-topping all-wheel drive version. The upgrade, available only for the range-topping all-wheel drive, reduces the 0-60 mph time from 4.7 seconds to 4.4 seconds, while increasing torque from 450 to 524 lb-ft. The upgrade costs $1,200 and is installed automatically into the car.
