VW has made some improvements to the ID.3 model, including the rear lights, cockpit, and steering wheel. The twelve-inch display is now standard, and the software version (3.5) has been updated to improve the charging menu and route planner. The 77 kWh battery of the ID.3 Pro S can be charged from five to 80 per cent within 30 minutes at a fast charger. The ID.3 also has a three-phase 11 kW onboard charger, and charging from zero to 100% at an AC charging point takes 7.5 hours. VW could release the next model update next year, so it’s up to the buyer to decide whether to buy the ID.3 now or not at all.
