The 2024 Audi Q8 E-tron is an evolution of the luxury electric SUV launched in 2019. The Q8 E-Tron has been designed to optimize air flow and lower the coefficient of drag, with improvements to the magnetic field in the rear motor unit and the use of new nickel-cobalt-aluminum (NCA) cells in the bigger 106-kwh battery pack. The 2024 Q8 E-Tron boosts the range from a below-average 226 miles in 2023 to an above-average 285 miles. However, it is not as quick as other electric SUVs, with asynchronous motors on the front and rear axle making 355 hp and 414 lb-ft of torque.

The Q8 E-Tron balances sharp handling with comfortable ride quality, with a five-link front and rear suspension supplemented with air springs and adaptive dampers. However, it lacks one-pedal regen, precision steering, and an unoptimized interior space. The 2024 Audi Q8 E-Tron also makes artificial sounds, which some people find annoying. Despite these improvements, the 2024 Q8 E-Tron still lacks some of the splash of new EVs but it a fine bridge for those transitioning from combustion engines.
