Tesla Cybertruck Takes the Highway Range Test, Throws In the Towel After 254 Miles

Tesla’s Cybertruck AWD has been tested in the highway range test, with the vehicle achieving a range of 254 miles (409 km) before the lights went out. The test was conducted in less than ideal conditions, with temperatures of 45 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius) and the use of All-Terrain tires. The Cybertruck AWD was rated for 340 miles of range, but the vehicle underwhelmed even the most pessimistic estimates. The test also showed that the vehicle could only reach 150-160 miles (240-260 km) of range in winter, a figure that is only achievable when not towing. However, some Tesla fans still considered the results promising, citing the half-full glass and regenerative braking as potential improvements. The test also showed that the Cybertruck charges slower than advertised, indicating that the vehicle’s limited range may not be as appealing as initially thought. The Cybertruck’s limited range may be more of an issue for some than others, as it still provides enough driving time for most people.
