The 2024 Volvo XC40 Recharge is a 402-hp Q-ship that has been updated with improvements to its powertrain and range. The XC40 Recharge features a rear-wheel-drive version, a more evenly distributed battery and motors, and an 82-kWh battery pack. This combination allows the crossover to achieve up to 471 km of range on the combined Environmental Protection Agency test cycle. Additionally, charging power has improved as the uprated 82-kWh battery pack allows for charging at a top rate of 200 kW DC.
