Subaru, Which Only Makes One EV, Will Switch To Tesla’s NACS Plug In 2025

Subaru, a Japanese carmaker, will adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector from 2025. This will allow cars with the CCS inlet to access 15,000+ Tesla Superchargers in North America. The move follows Toyota’s and Lexus’ similar move. Subaru aims to launch eight new battery-powered cars by 2026, with the first being a three-row SUV in collaboration with Toyota.
