Rivian EVs now have access to Tesla’s Supercharger Network, which includes over 15,000 compatible DC fast chargers in North America. However, Rivian models currently use the Combined Charging System (CCS), requiring a NACS adapter. Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe announced the move in April, doubling the number of fast chargers available. The Superchargers are located in major cities and along major highways, making traveling coast to coast easier. The Rivian Adventure Network consists of over 3,500 DC fast chargers at 600 sites in the US and Canada, and plans for over 10,000 Level 2 chargers called Rivian Waypoints. Most charging occurs at home, making it easier for owners to recharge while they sleep.
