Review: 2024 Kia Niro EV GT-Line Is Expensive But Extremely Efficient

The 2024 Kia Niro EV GT-Line is an expensive yet efficient electric vehicle based on the K5 platform. The vehicle has a 64.8 kWh battery and requires 43 minutes to charge from 10 to 80% when connected to a fast DC charger. The battery pack drives an electric motor capable of 150 kW and 255 Nm of torque through the front wheels.
The interior is similar to the EV6 and features a two-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters for regenerative braking. The car also has a 10.25-inch screen with the same operating system and supports wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The boot is spacious, with 475 liters and 1,400 liters with the second row folded down. The Niro EV GT-Line is easy to drive on an everyday basis, with a no-nonsense design and efficient brake regeneration. However, its price may limit its appeal, especially when compared to the cheaper Hybrid version.
