Porsche’s Next Cayenne Will Be An EV, Built In Bratislava

Porsche has announced plans to produce its next Cayenne electric vehicle (EV) in Slovakia. The company has been producing electric vehicles since 2019, with the first Taycan sold in 2019. The company has also introduced the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and Taycan Cross Turismo, both of which feature electric powertrains.
The Cayenne is set to become the fourth model line to feature an all-electric powertrain. The Cayenne has been a popular model for over two decades, with 95,604 units delivered in 2022. The company’s plant in Slovakia is gearing up for series production of the Cayenne SUV, which has undergone significant upgrades to its powertrain, chassis, design, equipment, and digital connectivity technologies.
