The Zeekr X is a small, electric Chinese SUV designed to compete with Europe’s premium car manufacturers. It comes in rear-wheel-drive, single-motor form, or with dual motors and four-wheel drive. The dual-motor Zeekr X has a 272bhp output with 343Nm of torque, making it capable of a 5.6-second 0-62mph sprint. The dual motor powertrain is impressive, with 422bhp and 543Nm, making it faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera 4. Both versions have the same 69kWh battery mounted under the floor, and the official WLTP ranges are 277 miles for the single-motor car and 264 miles for the dual-motor model.

The Zeekr X feels more like a compact MPV than an SUV, with an upright driving position and lots of room overhead. The soft suspension gets unsettled over larger bumps and undulations, producing a bouncy effect when driven quickly. However, the Zeekr impresses when driven in a more measured way or stick to urban streets and smooth motorways.
