Mercedes-Benz is set to introduce an all-new generation of its CLA compact sedan, developed under the “electric-first” strategy. The concept car will debut at the Munich motor show in September. The CLA will be offered in two variants, starting with the all-electric version and continuing with a mild-hybrid. It will use second-generation permanent magnet synchronous motors and a lithium iron phosphate battery pack.
