The Lucid Air, a luxury electric car, has been tested in the UK, proving to be more comfortable, fun, spacious, and luxurious than most electric cars. The car’s performance is impressive, even on the roughest roads, with its acceleration and power output being impressive. The Air tested is a Netherlands-registered, European-spec Performance edition with dual motors and a total power output of 1,097bhp with 1,390Nm of torque.

The car is designed to be efficient, with super-efficient motors that enable the car to go further for every kWh of power. The Performance model packs a 118kWh battery and can go 471 miles on a full charge, while the Range model claims a maximum distance of 520 miles. The Lucid Air also has a conventional approach to tech implementation, with a 34-inch-wide panel in front of the driver and a portrait touchscreen in the middle of the dash. The top-spec Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance model costs €218,000 (£188,100), with lesser models starting at approximately half that in Europe.
