Kia has unveiled its new EV9, a three-row electric vehicle, with a 99.8kWh, 800V battery that can reach up to 336 miles between charges. The EV9 is available in two variants: a rear-wheel-drive car with 200bhp and 258lb ft of torque and a dual-motor version with 378bhp and 442lb ft. The EV9 GT-Line variant is the range-topping variant, featuring bespoke bumpers, wheels, and roof rails.

The EV9 is the most expensive Kia model yet and one of its largest. The production-spec EV9 remains faithful to the radical concept shown at Los Angeles in 2021, but rides closer to the ground. The EV9 is more recognisably a dedicated SUV than the rakish, low-slung EV6. The EV9’s interior is pioneering, featuring top-rung tech, sustainable upmarket materials, and unique packaging solutions.

The EV9’s swivelling middle row allows four rear passengers to face each other on the move, and features tray tables, a digital climate control panel, and a dedicated ‘Automode’.
