The MG4 is one of three new electric vehicles (EVs) in Australia, with base variants priced below $40,000. The base Excite variant starts at $38,990, but there are higher-priced versions with larger batteries, more range, and additional features for the driver. The Long Range variant adds a larger battery, a claimed range of over 500kms, 6 speakers, a rear spoiler, front heated seats, a heated steering wheel, electric folding mirrors, a 360-degree camera, a two-tone roof color, and 18-inch upgraded alloys.
The top-spec model costs $55,990 before on-roads. The MG4 is the first “ground-up” EV from MG in Australia, offering more space inside than normal electric versions of existing petrol models.
