Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will adopt a larger battery by the end of 2023, increasing its range and appeal. The new battery gains 10kWh in useable energy capacity over the current 118kWh unit. The EQS SUV’s range will increase 31-36 miles per charge, with the EQE and EQE saloons to follow. The battery also uses a different chemical process for increased efficiency.
