Maserati is set to introduce its first electric vehicle (EV) the GranTurismo Folgore in Q4 2023. To prepare, the brand is partnering with Michigan’s Future Energy for customized DC fast-chargers and software for energy use. The EV will replace the GranTurismo’s twin-turbo V-6 engine and has a 92.5-kwh, T-shaped battery pack. Maserati plans to offer a fully electric version of each model by 2025 and an all-EV lineup by 2030. The brand’s electric-vehicle announcements have been mixed, but the arrival of the GranTurismo Folgore could resolve these issues.
