Maserati charges up for its first EV, the GranTurismo Folgore

Maserati is set to introduce its first electric vehicle (EV) the GranTurismo Folgore in Q4 2023. To prepare, the brand is partnering with Michigan’s Future Energy for customized DC fast-chargers and software for energy use. The EV will replace the GranTurismo’s twin-turbo V-6 engine and has a 92.5-kwh, T-shaped battery pack. Maserati plans to offer a fully electric version of each model by 2025 and an all-EV lineup by 2030. The brand’s electric-vehicle announcements have been mixed, but the arrival of the GranTurismo Folgore could resolve these issues.Read Full Article Green Car Reports
