Kia has unveiled the Kia EV9, its second all-electric model, and will be available in two battery sizes: a 76.1 kWh pack in the Standard RWD option or a Long Range 99.8 kWh battery available in both RWD and AWD configurations. Kia is also developing an EV9 performance GT SUV, which will be available in early 2025. The EV9 will showcase Kia’s three-step Design Sustainability Strategy, which includes phasing out leathers, increasing the use of bio-based materials, and applying 10 “must-have” sustainable items to every model. The EV9 is likely to be Kia’s most expensive model to date.
