Kia’s EV9 has been awarded a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, demonstrating its impressive safety credentials. The all-electric seven-seat SUV scored 84% for adult occupant protection, 88% for child occupant protection, 76% for vulnerable road users, and 83% in the safety assist category. Euro NCAP praised the EV9’s passenger compartment for stability and protection of all occupants, including children. The vehicle also scored maximum points in side barrier tests, with the eCall system alerting emergency services in case of a crash. The EV9’s Automatic Emergency Braking system, Lane Keep Assist, and speed assistance system were also praised. The EV9’s high-strength Electric Global Modular Platform and rigid body structure further reinforced its safety rating.
