Kia and Hyundai are set to adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for their EV6 models starting in Q4 2024. The switch will gradually roll out across the rest of Kia’s EV range. Existing vehicles with CCS charge ports will have an adapter for NACS chargers from Q1 2025. The transition timelines vary, with most automakers expected to release NACS-equipped models by 2025.
