Jeep has announced its electrification plans for the next five years, focusing on its beloved models like the Wrangler, Wagoneer, and Grand Wagoneer. The Wrangler, already available as a hybrid, will continue production until 2028, with updates scheduled for both hybrid and gas-powered versions in 2025. The J70 Wrangler will feature two battery-based powertrains, one full-electric and another that employs a combustion engine as a range extender. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will receive a mid-cycle refresh in 2025, featuring a range-extended EV variant.

The Grand Cherokee will retire in 2027, transitioning to a new generation with a selection of battery and combustion powertrains. The three-row variant of the Grand Cherokee will continue production until 2028 before potentially being replaced with an entirely new model. Jeep is also making strides in the electric vehicle market with models like the battery-powered Avenger in Europe and plans to release the Recon EV soon.
