Fisker has forced customers to pay for five recalls for its 2023-2024 Ocean models. The recalls include a reduction in regenerative braking, electric water pump failure, door handles failing to open from inside, incorrectly displayed warning lights, and potential loss of drive power. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) states that all five recalls increase the risk of a crash or injury. After Fisker went bankrupt, all remaining unsold Ocean SUVs were bought by American Lease. Fisker will issue a list of authorized service centers by September 2024, but customers will have to pay for inspections and labor.
