The Lucid Air Sapphire, an electric vehicle (EV) available in four trims (Pure, Touring, Grand Touring, and Sapphire), has become a $249,000 power bank for other EVs in need of charging. The Lucid Air Sapphire has a new V2V adapter that allows EVs to be fed electric power by other vehicles with the same means of propulsion. The bi-directional charging technology and accompanying software are already shipped with all Air vehicles. The RangeXchange adapter is the first piece of hardware that puts this bi-directional charging tech to use.
