German Authority Gives VW ID.3 Battery Thumbs Up After 62,000 Miles Of Durability Testing

The German Authority, ADAC, has given the Volkswagen ID.3 battery a thumbs up after 62,000 miles of durability testing. The ID.3 remained 93% of its battery capacity after 100,000 km, despite not following all of VW’s charging recommendations. ADAC congratulated Volkswagen for advertising the net capacity of its batteries, not the gross capacity. The organization plans to continue testing until 160,000 km.
