The first electric car from the American manufacturer Fisker is allowed to roll on the roads in Europe. The Fisker Ocean has received sales approval for the European market and is to be delivered to customers as early as 5 May.

Initially, the Fisker Ocean One Launch Edition version, limited to 5,000 units, is to be delivered. It is the top version with twin-motor all-wheel drive, the ‘Hyper Range’ battery option and the ‘Extreme’ package, for which a WLTP range of up to 707 kilometres is stated and which costs at least 67,272 euros.

“The entire Fisker team is excited to get the Fisker Ocean One launch edition to our reservation holders,” said Henrik Fisker, Chairman and CEO. “Our first delivery is expected for May 5. After that, we intend to deliver all Ocean Ones by the end of September while also initiating some deliveries of the Fisker Ocean Extreme, starting in Europe with the US to follow.”

The electric carmaker says it has already built vehicles in the mid-range trim level, the Ocean Ultra, with all-wheel drive. The Fisker Ocean Sport with front-wheel drive, the most affordable trim level, has also already been produced for registration purposes, it said. Deliveries of these variants are expected to begin in September.
