Cheaper Lexus RZ 300e arrives with 600km range

The Lexus RZ 300e, a cheaper version of the 2024 Lexus RZ, has been launched in Japan. It has a single motor that drives the front wheels, producing 150kW and 266Nm. The front-drive 300e weighs 100kg less than the all-wheel-drive RZ 450e, allowing it to cover 599km on a single charge under the Euro WLTP test regime. The RZ 300e also features a new suspension tune, including new springs and dampers, and is priced around seven percent lower than the RZ 450e in Japan. However, the battery still lacks sophistication, limiting its capacity to 150kW top-up.
