Cadillac is launching the all-electric Lyriq SUV in right-hand-drive in Australia and New Zealand, marking the return of GM’s luxury brand to the country. The award-winning SUV, based on GM’s Ultium Platform, is expected to be available in 2025 in Australia and New Zealand. The all-wheel-drive vehicle is powered by a pair of motors, one on the front axle and one on the rear. The launch will focus initially on three major cities in Australia and New Zealand – Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland. Cadillac plans to transition to an all-electric brand by 2030. The launch will be accompanied by dedicated “Experience Centres” in each city.
