Amazon has doubled its fleet of Rivian electric delivery vehicles (EDVs) to 10,000, making last-mile deliveries in 1,800 US cities. The company plans to have at least 100,000 EDVs on the road by 2030. The partnership with Rivian is part of Amazon’s commitment to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040, 10 years ahead of the Paris climate goals.
