Acura and Honda Will Adopt Tesla’s NACS Charging Port for Its Upcoming EVs

American Honda and Acura are set to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) for their upcoming electric vehicles (EVs) by 2025/2026. This move is part of a larger shift from the current CCS-dominated EV market. Other automakers, including BMW, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, and Stellantis, have also pledged to use the NACS design. The switchover will focus on charging speed and a smoother user experience.
