Italian performance car specialist Abarth has unveiled its most powerful vehicle to date, the 600e, in a limited “Scorpionissima” edition. The all-electric vehicle, a tribute to the Fiat 600 from the 1950s and ’60s, delivers 240 horsepower in a compact hatch. Abarth, a veteran rally and performance car manufacturer, has expanded into relationships with other Italian automakers, particularly Fiat, since the 1950s. The production run will begin in Milan, Italy, with a limited run of 1,949 units of the Scorpionissima. The 600e is equipped with a mechanical slip differential and high-performance tires developed alongside the supplier to Formula E vehicles.
