Tesla has reduced its range estimates for some of its electric vehicles (EVs). The Model Y, Model S, and Model X have seen significant reductions, with the Model Y Performance dropping 18 miles and the Long Range seven miles. The Model S Plaid’s range estimate fell the most, from 396 miles with 19-inch wheels to 359. The change is attributed to comfort and functionality improvements and a change in the EPA’s range testing method.
