The 2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line AWD is a new generation of electric vehicles from the Korean car company, targeting active Aussie families with its seven-seat capacity and SUV versatility. The EV9 is not the first seven-seat EV offered for sale in Australia, with the Tesla Model X and Mercedes-Benz’s EQB and EQS being more modestly-sized. The EV9 is offered in three equipment grades with prices starting from $97,000 plus on-road costs. The top-spec GT-Line, priced from $121,000, claims to have the same 283kW/700Nm dual-motor setup but accelerates quicker due to a torque boost in Sport mode.
