The 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 is a mini-luxury car. The base Ioniq 6 SE Standard Range has a 53-kwh battery and a single electric motor that drives the rear wheels. It delivers 149 hp and 240 miles of EPA-rated range, but it takes 9.0 seconds to reach 60 mph. For the strongest sensation of speed, the dual-motor Ioniq 6 spins out 320 hp and 446 lb-ft, and skips to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The Ioniq 6 is tuned more firmly than the related Ioniq 5 and focuses on slick road manners. Crash testing is not completed on the Ioniq 6, but Hyundai loads it with driver-assist tech. The NHTSA hasn’t crash-tested it yet, but it’s a Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS. All Ioniq 6 sedans come with automatic emergency braking, active lane control, blind-spot monitors, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control.

The Ioniq 6 has great features and a standout warranty, making it a great value. The base model costs about $43,000 in the 2023 model year, but prices for 2024 haven’t been released. The Ioniq 6 SE RWD Long Range offers 361 miles of range for about $4,000 more, while the SEL trim level adds synthetic leather upholstery, wireless smartphone charging, and bigger 20-inch wheels.

The Ioniq 6 posts higher efficiency scores than the Tesla Model 3, with a 10. The Ioniq 6 offers 350-kw DC fast charging, which can lift its energy from 10-80% in 18 minutes.
