Tesla has leaked details of the high-performance version of the Tesla Cybertruck electric pick-up, which is expected to use the same electric tri-motor powertrain as the flagship Model X Plaid SUV and Model S Plaid. The Cybertruck is an electric rival to the Rivian R1T and Fisker Alaska, which are exclusive for North America. The on-sale date for the Cybertruck has been repeatedly pushed back due to production delays. The model is expected to be in US showrooms by the end of 2023.
