The 2024 BMW i4 Gran Coupe range has expanded with the introduction of a new base eDrive30 variant, lowering the entry price to below $90,000 for the first time. The base i4 is priced from $85,900 before on-road costs and comes below the $89,332 Luxury Car Tax threshold for fuel-efficient vehicles. The existing eDrive40 and M50 variants retain pricing from the most recent rise in March, listing for $102,900 and $133,900 before on-road costs respectively. The i4 eDrive35 can be charged at up to 180kW via DC fast-charging, while the 84kWh models offer a 200kW charge capacity. The i4 wears a four-star ANCAP safety rating, making it the only model in BMW’s line-up without a five-star rating.
