Rivian has released its new tri-motor “R1 Tri” spec vehicle, the R1 Tri, which sits between the base model dual motor and the higher-spec quad motor. The R1 Tri offers 850 horsepower, enough to bring you from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and features Launch Mode to help drivers maximize performance. The vehicle works with one motor in front and two in the rear, providing more control at the rear with two motors that can work independently of each other.
