A 2025 Ram 1500 REV’s 229 kWh battery could cost nearly one-third of the truck’s total price, according to a study by Visual Capitalist. The battery, which uses NCM technology, is estimated to be worth $25,853, which is almost as much as an entire Chevrolet Bolt EV, which has an MSRP of $26,500. This is in contrast to the Tesla Model S, which would only cost $12,030 to replace. The Ford Mustang Mach E’s LPF battery would cost $6,895, while the Cadillac Escalade IQ’s 200 kWh battery makes up 17.3% of the SUV’s price.
