Tesla’s Model 3 is the top-selling mid-sized car in Australia, reviving interest in traditional sedans with a boot instead of a tailgate or hatch. It competes with electric vehicles like the Polestar 2, Hyundai Ioniq 6, and BYD Seal, as well as the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4. The Model 3 is Tesla’s most affordable car and provides the foundations for the Tesla Model Y SUV. In 2024, the Model 3 will be revived with more performance extras and pace.
