The 2024 Polestar 2 electric vehicle has been updated with more standard features, longer driving range, and a fresh face. It now has rear-wheel-drive on Single Motor variants, with power bumps across the range. Pricing has increased between $2400-3000, but all models have more standard features, including blind-spot assist, rear cross-traffic assist, a 360-degree camera system, and a wireless phone charger.

Larger NMC battery packs feature on both variants, making the Polestar 2 the longest range EV on sale in Australia today (654km WLTP). The updated Polestar 2 remains differentiated by two battery sizes in single- or dual-motor configurations. The 2024 Polestar 2 has a 2021 five-star ANCAP safety rating, eight airbags, and a more advanced SmartZone system. It weighs between 1944kg to 2108kg and has a 405 litre boot space.
