For an extra $44,300, the i7 M70 offers more power, equipment, and aggressive suspension over the i7 xDrive60. Both models have a 105.7-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack and a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain layout. The M70 gets its added oomph from a more powerful rear-drive unit, cranking out 483 hp and 479 lb-ft, as opposed to the xDrive60’s 308 hp and 280 lb-ft.

The sedan’s driving range doesn’t take a massive hit despite this bump in output. The M70 comes standard with 21-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires, but 20-inch wheels wrapped in high-performance summer tires will be available. The M70 also comes with iDrive 8.5, a new bit of cabin tech that will make its way to other BMW models through an over-the-air update. The i7 M70 costs $169,495 (including $995 for destination), while the i7 xDrive60 is $125,195.
