Lexus has introduced the RZ 450e, a battery-powered SUV, as part of its commitment to offering an exclusive lineup by 2035. The RZ 450e is built on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform and features a dual-motor powertrain with a 71.4-kWh lithium-ion battery. It offers a serene and comfortable ride, but its driving range is underwhelming, with an estimated 220 miles for the Premium variant and 196 miles for the Luxury trim. The RZ also lacks a Steer by Wire system and Traffic Jam Assist system. The 2023 Lexus RZ 450e starts at $59,650 for the Premium trim and $65,150 for the Luxury trim.
