The 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Epiq Dual-Motor AWD is an all-wheel drive electric SUV with a larger 77.4kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery, providing more range. The battery is mounted underneath the car and can charge at up to 350kW on a DC charger, with a claimed efficiency of 19.1kWh/100km. The Ioniq 5’s one-pedal driving functionality is impressive, with a 0-100km/h sprint time of 5.1 seconds and an 80-120km/h sprint time of just 3.4 seconds.

The Ioniq 5’s interior and practicality are 9/10, with a large center console, deep door bins, glove drawer, cup holders, wireless phone charger, and a place to store wallet and keys. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the rear legroom is excellent. The Ioniq 5 is an established product that offers a lot to buyers, but Hyundai Australia should continue improving its suspension further.
