The BYD Atto 3 Extended Range is a smooth, quiet, and comfortable electric car that offers a claimed 420km of range on the WLTP test cycle. It is powered by an electric motor on the front axle, making 150kW and 310Nm. The Atto 3 is mated with a 60kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, which can accept up to 80kW. The car has a five-star ANCAP safety rating, earning an adult occupant protection rating of 91%, a child occupant protection rating of 84%, a vulnerable road user protection rating of 69%, and a safety assist rating of 80%.

The Atto 3 is covered by a six-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty and 12 months of roadside assist. Other warranties include electric motor, high-voltage assembly, motor controller, lights, tyre pressure monitoring module, suspension, ball joints, and 12V battery. The infotainment system is covered under a three-year, 60,000km warranty. The only concern is the fitted Atlas Batman tyres.
